Our Pastor: Rev. Hyung Jin Sean Moon
Rev. Hyung Jin "Sean" Moon is the visionary founder and senior pastor of Rod of Iron Ministries. As the youngest son of Rev. Sun Myung Moon, he was personally named and appointed by his father as the sole successor and inheritor of the providential mantle. Educated at Harvard Divinity School and trained in theology, self-defense (including Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, where he holds black belt status), and firearms proficiency, Pastor Moon has dedicated his life to restoring biblical truth in these end times.
In obedience to God's direction, Pastor Moon established Rod of Iron Ministries to proclaim the full gospel of Jesus Christ as King of Kings. He teaches that believers are coheirs with Christ (Romans 8:17), called to love God and neighbor while defending His Kingdom with the biblical "Rod of Iron" (Revelation 2:27, 19:15)—symbolized today by the AR-15 as an instrument of righteous authority and protection against tyranny. Pastor Moon leads by example, preaching boldly, hosting Rod of Iron Freedom Festivals, and guiding patriots in building Christ-centered families and sovereign communities grounded in faith, freedom, and the Constitution.
Under his leadership, Rod of Iron Ministries has grown into a vibrant movement of 2nd Amendment Christians across multiple states, emphasizing personal accountability to God, mind-body unity through practical training, and the defense of God-given rights. Pastor Moon continues to inspire believers to stand as armed sovereigns in Christ's Kingdom, preparing for His full reign on earth.

Sun Myung Moon’s commitment to bring about a world of true, lasting freedom is the root of the Rod of Iron Ministry’s ideal of advancing liberation through personal training and education that deepens awareness of the immense suffering caused by totalitarian beliefs and practices, and the need to protect our rights, families, and nation.
Sun Myung Moon’s opposition to communism was born from his first-hand suffering from being imprisoned and subjected to forced labor for nearly three years in the Heungnam labor camp in North Korea, a place he described as a"slaughter house" designed to slowly kill religious and political prisoners. This experience gave him a deep understanding of the"bottom" of communist reality.
To counter these threats, Reverend Moon established the International Federation forVictory Over Communism (IFVOC). He invested heavily in educating social leaders, including professors and school principals, to create a grassroots movement of ideological awareness. He emphasized that to defeat the absolute"religious" control of leaders like Kim Il-sung, who if he says todie, people will die, one must be armed with a stronger, God-centered faith.
He taughtthat the Unification Church and the "Second Israel" (represented bythe Christian cultural sphere and the United States) had a providential responsibility to protect the world from atheistic materialism. He organized massive global rallies to alert the public to the crisis in East Asia and to warn totalitarian leaders against further aggression. He believed that the liberation of enslaved peoples required a "faith-based armament" that could surpass the fervor of communist indoctrination.
