• Create a marriage of love and respect.

At Rod of Iron Ministries, we emphasize the faith-filled foundation of strong, godly marriages built on mutual love and respect, as inspired by biblical principles. Being part of our vibrant church community means surrounding yourself with believers who actively pursue and model this ideal—where husbands cherish their wives with unconditional love, and wives honor their husbands with genuine respect—creating homes that reflect Christ's relationship with the church.

We regularly host enriching classes through our small group ministry, Holy Spirit University, where we dive deeply into Dr. Emerson Eggerichs' transformative book Love & Respect. These studies provide practical tools, scriptural insights, and fellowship to help couples break negative cycles, foster deeper intimacy, and build lasting, harmonious marriages grounded in God's design. Join us as we grow together in faith and family.

• Raise your children to become disciples of Christ.

At Rod of Iron Ministries, we are committed to equipping parents with biblical wisdom to raise children as devoted disciples of Christ, fostering hearts that seek God's truth and embody His love. Drawing from Ted Tripp's Shepherding a Child's Heart, we emphasize addressing the inner motivations of a child's behavior rather than mere external actions, guiding them toward a Godward orientation where obedience flows from a transformed heart aligned with Scripture. Integrated with insights from Adele Faber and Elaine Mazlish's How to Talk So Kids Will Listen & Listen So Kids Will Talk, our approach encourages empathetic communication that acknowledges children's feelings, builds cooperation through descriptive guidance, and nurtures autonomy, all while pointing families to the gospel as the ultimate source of harmony and growth. In this supportive church community, parents and children alike strive to live out Christ's teachings, creating homes where faith is lived daily and discipleship is a family pursuit.

Our small group ministry, Holy Spirit University, regularly offers classes delving into these transformative resources, providing practical tools like acknowledging emotions to foster listening, intervening wisely in disputes to encourage cooperation, and shepherding hearts with biblical discipline.
